You’ve got your books and your class schedule – now you just need a way to get to campus. Luckily for you, UTA provides convenient campus access to schools throughout Weber, Davis, Salt Lake and Utah counties.

You can buy a student pass online for nearly 50 public, private, technical, charter and beauty schools. See if a UTA pass to your school is available online here. We’ve also included tips for riding UTA to major local colleges and universities below.

Brigham Young University

Headed to the Y this fall? Don’t forget your UTA student pass, which will help you get from off-campus housing to classes, downtown Provo, FrontRunner and more. Simply purchase UTA student pass online and activate it through the campus student services center. You’ll receive a 25 percent discount on a regular monthly pass (good for local buses, TRAX and the S-Line) or 25 percent off a premium monthly pass (good for buses, TRAX, S-Line, FrontRunner, and express buses).

LDS Business College

Why fight downtown traffic to LDS Business College when you can take TRAX right to campus? Simply buy your UTA student pass card online and receive a 25 percent discount on a regular monthly pass or a premium monthly pass, then activate your card at the campus bookstore.

Salt Lake Community College

If you’re attending classes at one of Salt Lake Community College’s many transit-accessible locations this fall, don’t forget your student pass. Students can purchase a $50 monthly pass or a $200 semester pass good for local buses, TRAX and the S-Line here. After purchase, simply activate your student ID card at one of the four ID Center locations. You must be a registered student to have your pass activated.

University of Utah

University of Utah students can use their student ID card to tap on and off UTA buses, TRAX, FrontRunner, express buses and the S-Line, no purchase or activation needed. With limited vehicle parking and several TRAX stations near campus, there’s no better way for Utes to make it to class on time.

Utah Valley University

Wolverines can take advantage of convenient bus access and a nearby FrontRunner station with their student pass. Simply visit Campus Connection to have your student ID card activated for use on UTA. The cost is $80 and includes access to FrontRunner, TRAX, local and express buses and the S-Line from August 2014 to August 2015.

Weber State University

If you’re attending Weber State, don’t forget to pick up your UTA student pass. Register through the Weber State online student portal, pick up your pass at the Shepard Union Building or Davis WSU campus student information centers and use the card to ride FrontRunner, TRAX, local and express buses and the S-Line. This service is provided at no additional cost for students, making it a simple solution for those looking to save money in gas and car maintenance.

Westminster College

With the new S-Line running near campus and bus service throughout Sugar House, UTA is a great way for Westminster students to get to class. Simply use your student ID card to tap on and off UTA FrontRunner, TRAX, express and local buses and the S-Line. The service is provided to students at no additional charge, and cards don’t need to be activated before use.
